The Khwarizmi Youth Festival is a scientific competition held annually to identify and nurture the scientific talents of students across the country.
The festival is divided into two sections: the Youth section (for first-cycle high school students) and the Young section (for second-cycle high school students).
The goal of this festival is to encourage students to undertake scientific and research projects, so that outstanding talents can be recognized and supported for their future academic paths.
Last year, when we were in the 9th grade in the first cycle of high school, I participated in the Khwarizmi Youth Festival with my friend , Mohammad Hessam Afzali , and achieved the national rank of 2nd in the programming category, specifically in the subcategory of application programs.
Our project was called BUFFET, and its goal was to smarten up school cafeterias.
BUFFET app published in github. See it here!
Thanks to J.S. and M.S. for their invaluable help and support throughout our journey.
Currently, I am working on a new, large-scale project called SEPAD with my friend Abolfazl Rashidian.
The goal of the SEPAD project is to track students' accuracy in online classes and report it to the teacher.
SEPAD organization is in github. See it here!
The Khwarizmi Youth Festival, which I am participating in this year, provides valuable points for the national exams. With these points, I plan to study Computer Science at one of the best universities in Iran.
Of course, winning in this festival is not enough, and one should not neglect school subjects!
